Absolutely loved this place! The food was amazing, and the eating area in the garden/courtyard is simply delightful. As a group of three cyclists, we were pleased to find they could accommodate our bikes in their small storage area. Highly recommend!
We had a late breakfast and we ordered free range fried egg with white flat bread, Grilled cheese croissant along with a fried egg and a warm croissant with butter and jam , they all were delicious and great portion . Staff are really friendly and welcoming. We then had waffles with ice cream and Strawberry ice cream Sunday also very good.
Amazing atmosphere, best service and absolutely delicious food The homemade bread really yum-yum, the Celeriac and apple soup fantastic taste and the Coronation chicken sandwich was the best: “With a heritage stretching to the 1950's, you don't get more retro than this.” You don’t!! Well deserved 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
A lovely spot for some food, had a fantastic lunch which was just the ticket! The pancakes and ice cream for lunch went down a storm with the kids! (That’s right pancakes for lunch.
Many thanks Lisa and Chris we enjoyed another delicious lunch along with our great friends Sue and Kev. So relaxing in your outside terrace and with your friendly and professional staff makes for a very enjoyable lunchtime. Look forward to seeing you again in the near future.
Visited today for my friends birthday brunch. The food service and every part was outstanding. Thank you for a lovely dining experience. We will definitely see you again.
A wonderful lunch here yesterday! The staff were welcoming and attentive. There were a great selection of dishes to choose from. We had the quiche and side salad, plus the fish goujons sandwich and skinny fries. Both were delicious. The quiche was so nice and was really impressed with the side salad accompaniment! That’s the best I had from anywhere. It’s a very relaxing atmosphere and we would certainly return for lunch here again.
We stopped here on a long journey and what a lovely find. Great location, lovely decor, good food and a lovely atmosphere. Lots of table reservations showed the place was popular and it quickly filled with groups, families and couples. Food was excellent and service quick. Recommended.
